Sounds convoluted. So does Modelo of Mexico get royalties or some such from Constellation?

I don't drink [bleep] beer, life's too short. When I was in the Army, I always got bottles of Miller Lite. IIRC, I’d get 2 6 packs for $14 or 15 bucks. A buddy of mine would get a case of Strohs (which I didn’t like) for the same money. “Why do you buy that Miller, I’m getting twice as much for the same money?”. I said “Bernie, when I can’t afford good beer, I can’t afford beer”! Cans in the ‘80s seemed to not taste right. They still hadn’t figured out how to line them so you couldn’t taste the aluminum, so I stuck with glass. Coors and most others I didn’t care for. Either “bitter beer face” or waking up with a headache. I seen too many hangovers and guys getting sick in morning PT! But we had an apartment off post, and if we were having a party (we threw a lot of darts, and I had a board) and we were close friends, you’d find a frosty mug of your favorite football team waiting when you got there! Even the freakin Bears! I’d stick them in the freezer ahead of time. We’d get a keg of Miller Lite, watch football, and play poker or darts. On Thanksgiving or Christmas, Carol and I always hosted for the barracks rats. Both of us hated hated not being home with family, but my friends in the unit were my family! 7mm So what was the good beer? I didn't see one mentioned.

Nope, I haven’t bought an IB product since this happened. I never liked Bud Light but really enjoyed Modelo and Devils Backbone, I won’t be buying either again. Curious about why you won't be buying Modelo, unless it's an American only decision, which I can respect. Is Constellation Brands woke, too? Modelo - ConstellationModelo of America is NOT owned by AB.
Modelo of Mexico and south is owned by AB. I thought InBev had it all. Thanks for letting me know!

No. It was piss before all this.
Was at a small town outdoor event last weekend. Well attended for middle of no-where. Bud sponsored the beer vending (bud and AH-owned sundries), probably arranged many months ago.
One, it was rather quiet for being the only beer tent there on a hot summer afternoon. Two, I used to like a Mango Cart… but now i see AH owns them, so f’em.
To judge by the tent’s meager traffic, I think the nerve bud struck runs far, far deeper than many suspect.
Golldammed motion detector lights. A guy can’t even piss off his porch in peace any more.

I drank the hell out of BL for a couple decades. Not much flavor but found it refreshing, readily available, affordable, & with decent dietary numbers. But had to walk away in April. Have had at least 14 different beers since then looking for a potential replacement. That doesn't count crafts or Jap beer I might have when I eat sushi. So I think that might say I ain't drinking it. Cost not a factor now.
Hell, I'll be drinking beers this week that are cheaper than BL, but I drove 70 miles round trip to get them. I could drive 4 miles to get BL, but FTFTFH. On second thought, they'd probably like the effing, & the fish heads. So, I'll just continue to kick them in their wallet.

If I'm visiting and you hand me one, I'll drink it to be sociable . Never cared for the stuff, I think it is a rice based beer.

Never did drink Bud Light. But there are a couple of InBev brands I used to buy that I don't/won't buy anymore...... Michelob Amber Bock, Shock Top, Kilt Lifter, Kona .

If there was nothing else available, but I've never bought one. I've always thought it was the worst tasting light beer of them all.

I’ll drink an IPA occasionally, but that’s about it. Maybe OP’s in elk camp if offered. None of the “light beers” are very appealing.

Interesting, those that would go along with Bud Light just to be polite.

No. But their all rubbish. I gave up on all American beer, They simply don't know how to make it here. Had 44 beers in a bar I used to own and have lived and traveled through more than 40 something states. Nothing improves the taste of water, so I look to imports for conciliation.

No Bud light period!
Why buy a light beer in the first place? Buy a regular beer and split in two glasses, add 6 ounces of water to each and you have light beer.

Interesting, those that would go along with Bud Light just to be polite. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Again, there are no current Bud drinkers I am close too. But if one offered me a beer and I said yes, I'm not going to make a big production of refusing it in that man's home. It's bought and paid for. Bud counted it as a sale and got the money. Whether it's drank, poured out or shot with a slug is inconsequential. If the host is buying it, he will keep buying it and that 1 beer is inconsequential. As for being seen with one in my hand? WRGAF. Got over that crap in Jr High. I am what I am and am comfortable with it. You wanna call me a Tranny, Go ahead. Hope it makes you feel better. Edited before posting. Trying to be nicer since I'm claiming to be polite!😁😁😁😁
