May possibly stick this up for sale. Grade AAA. Has box and all the literature. I shot the gun a little bit and I'd say it's 98 percent. Sold a few rifles to actually buy it off this site. Bought it off a great guy whom I'm glad to make the acquaintance with. Awesome dude. Anyways, I don't know how to post pics. These are pretty rare rifles and I would like some input on what yall think it's worth? It has been fired 23 times and shoots 130 interlocks inside a dime at 100 yards. I bought it with intentions of hunting the hell out of it, but you know how the story goes. What's yalls thoughts?

Rubber recoil pad model worth about $2,800-$2,900.00. Steel butt plate model worth about $3,100-$3,200.00 How about $2780.00 shipped Bought one. Shoots like a dream. Mine has the high grade stock a metal buttplate. Will never be for sale. They did something different when they built these rifles! 3400 wouldn't even begin to touch my rifle.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Has the steel plate. Exceptional rifle. Almost ashamed to sell it.

I know guys. Like I said, I'm ashamed to even sell it or advertise it. I'm not trying to make any money, but I've got about 20 irons in the fire right now. I bought the rifle off CRS, and I told him I'd never sell it, but I've got my reasons. Is what it is. I don't want to toss it on the classifieds, would rather reach out to winchester guys first.

Bsa made me eat my own words. I want to know what others think as I'm biased because it's my gun. I sold a custom rifle and an accumark to buy it and it out shoots them no problem.

I’m as dyed in the wool Winchester Model 70 fan as it gets. If I had a rifle that shot and looked that good, I would never sell it. That is a once in a lifetime gun mister.
I know you have your reasons but maybe you should reconsider and let this one make the cut.
If you do sell make sure it goes to someone that knows what it is and will treat her accordingly.
Just my $0.02

I'm not in a financial bind or anything, it's just hard to justify owning a rifle that is worth that much and use it as a hunting tool. I have a rifle in my truck 120 days a year and hunt quite a bit. It almost spooks me to get it wet. Rust don't bother me, but the wood and water deal is a killer and I don't want to buy a stock for it. I'm no collector. Just a hunter, but man this sucker is nice.

Just my $0.02 Makes sense. This is actually the first one I had a real chance, had the cash, could buy. Came out in like 2008. Same year I graduated college and got married. A JOC tribute wasn't in the cards. Finally got it. Doubt it'll ever go anywhere, but money talks loud sometimes.

Too loud sometimes!
I’ve lost a few myself over the years that I wish I could get back.
I don’t and won’t own any guns that are too nice to use. That said I have a couple that don’t go out if its raining or such. I have plastic stock rifles for those days.
Man I would hold onto this one, you’ll regret selling it if you ever do.

Coyote, you have a nice rifle. It's worth the money and it shoots well. GLWS.. At times we let some go for different reasons. Like I said, I've seen some sell for around $3,200.00 on GB. You price it how you like man. It's your rifle and I wish you good luck on it.

I say sell the thing. If you're not going to hunt it, and are not a "collector ", send it over to someone who will/is. I've got a SG and I hunt it just like my other rifles. If I had a JOC tribute I'd hunt it too. Good luck whatever you decide.

I certainly wouldn't take a loss on the deal, its pretty much public record what I paid for it, but I'm not trying to flip it either. Would possibly sell it for what I paid for it. It's just nice a heck and when it's a rainy or snow day, I reach for the plastic and stainless. Good to have options, but I have no idea how Jack kept his rifles nice through all the sheep hunts and hunting he did. Don't get me wrong either, I'm not against using something, but I don't want to tear up something that is gaining value each and every year.

They are sweet rifles. I've eyeballed them a time or 2..

They handle lively. The are slimmer than a regular fw. I was pretty impressed with load development. I fired 4 groups of 3 in .5 increment charges. All went under 1 inch. Actually I fired 5 150 PowerPoints down it, cleaning between each shot during initial break in, and they landed inside an inch on the last 3. Then I shot it at 200 to check zero, then shot 4 coyotes with it, not all in one day of course. Like 23 shots, maybe 24. Going off empty brass. Gun shoots lights out and is beautiful to boot

I would love to post pics of this gun bit I can't figure this site out. I can text you some and you can put them on. It's a nice one. Decided that I may never get another one like it.
