8.7” of clearance.
Just for comparison, that’s a whole 0.1” more than my Maverick…….. I suppose that’ll clear the curb at Whole Foods? Injecting a POS Maverick into this conversation . SMH Glad you got the point…..lol. I question the sanity of anyone that would buy a Ford never mind a Maverick. Toyota will have no problem selling everyone of these. And there is a 5 to 8 month wait to get a Maverick. Ford is selling every one they make.

Some of the more astute members here may wonder why toyoda is releasing so many new models, from a company that in the past was slow to update anything. The answer is the new Blundra, new Taco, new Land Cruiser and future 4runner are all built on the same platform.

Reminds me of our FJ with 4 doors. I'm sure they will be popular, apparently 50k+ for cars/trucks is the norm for many people, a new F150 4x4 mid level trim is $60+, they world has gone crazy! I've rented several Toyota mini vans for long trips and the hybrids got 36 mpg! I'll take that all day long, I believe hybrids are the future, at least short term, more so than EVs.
We just got a Tesla for the Mrs and I must tell you it's a great car, I really enjoy driving it. No gas, oil, tranny fluid, no engine, transmission or gearbox. The thing is lighting quick and effortless to drive. We had a 220 installed at the house and charging overnight is simple. I drive a Silverado 4x4 and not giving it up anytime soon but this Tesla Model 3 is cool.

At the risk of being the odd one out...I think it looks like something a pox doctors clerk would own. And unless it comes in a straight six or V8 diesel I wouldn't be interested.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

I am sure that in your part of the world it would be introduced with a diesel or straight six,v8 engine. Our EPA has attempted to pervert our ICE and their designs.

You know, the money that makes our capitalist system work. And the profits from vehicles made in Hermosillo Mexico go to the USA. Tell me, where do the profits on your ugly toyoda's go?

Toyota should have named this anything but Land Cruiser.
They should be embarrassed.

I want a series 70. if you bothered to price out a nicely equipped 4 runner it is more than this LC. Pure Marketing. There is no way the LC's will sell for less than 4Runners. I will bet on that. Car and Driver reports the base price for the 1958 model teased at the mid-$50,000 range. The base model 4R is currently $40,155. And yes it is pure marketing.

If it isn't ICE I won't buy it. My local shop won't work on a hybrid. They have had several brought in that were smoking and they put them in the middle of a lot and had them hauled off. If there is a electrical fault the DC in those things will kill you.
Gas mileage isn't everything.

I'd prefer something like tikka's Lexus but I hope Toyota does well with it.
Their hybrids are impressive and bringing them to the off road platforms could be great.

Gas mileage isn't everything. Toyota has the Hybrid market . Know of 2 Priuses that have over 200K on them , no issues other than normal wear and tear.

If it isn't ICE I won't buy it. It would appear that it was not marketed toward you.
