Just got message from Rossi web site, they are now making the 30-30 again in a blue version, in carbine and Rifle and can put scope on them, also says something about side gate too, something to check out before deer season for you 30-30 fans. I didn’t open it up to see about pricing.

It looks really nice. I really like half magazine lever rifles. Nothing carries better.

I was told that they are made in Georgia now, got five different answers, all I know is the one I just bought is better than all the older Rossi’s I have and just as nice as my JM’s and Henry’s, I have shot a lot hotter ammo in them than I would with other brands except Brownies.

They look, on the surface, a lot like a Marlin 336 SC Sporting Carbine.

Adam, over at Ranger Point Precision in Texas was involved with a preproduction beta test for this rifle. He gives it a glowing report over on the Marlinowners site.

Im definitely going to get the 16inch Trapper model I have emailed Henry for a decade to produce a Trapper in 30-30 … And they completely brush off the idea ..

I watched a couple of youtube reviews of this rifle recently. It looks to be nearly a carbon copy of a Marlin 336! And in the grand scheme of things, the .30-30 Winchester is still a top ten seller nationally, there isn’t much it can’t do inside its range capabilities in the lower 48 and a lot of other places too.
Was holding out for a Marlin of some order but I may have to give this Rossi a go!

Not in the slightest. They're nothing to me. Apparently everything to you though. Fawn and suck to your hearts content.

I've had 3 come in so far, they don't last long at the price point. They feel well made and cycle smoothly. I figured they would be decent, the R92's have been a hot item. As the season gets closer, I imagine I'll be seeing more show up.

I would try one before I'd think about buying a Henry.

I just won a R95 trapper 30-30. Trigger is a tad heavy but I’m here to tell you, this cute little gun is absolutely and undeniably better than any Remlin ever made.

The R95 is an improved 336 One that can't accept the fact that Adam says the Marlin 1895 is the 336 action albeit with more steel removed thereby making it weaker

Rossi needs get their asses in gear and chamber this R95 in 45-70, as they did with the Rio Grande. Another in 360 BuckHumper would be great too, for those of us who understand the Ragnarok Voodoo Death Magic a .358 rifle bullet unleashes on our furry friends .
