Had chemo with a new cocktail recipe on Nov. 29th. It wiped out my white blood cell count bad, WBC was 200, s/b above 5,000, so they throwed me into the hospital and got it back up. Now I'm feeling fine, but today, no kidding I lost every bit of hair on my head! It literally came out in clumps!

WBC of 200 is not good my friend. STAY AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC!!!!!!!! ITs flu season ya know.
THe hair will grow back, I promise. THe first time I lost mine, I cried for about 3 weeks. Mine came out in clumps too. I literally went to bed with hair and woke up with most of it on my pillow. When it came back in, it was lighter and curly. It didnt take long either. Within a few weeks I had new sprigs of hair growing.
You take care and keep away from snotty kids at Christmas dinner. NO fresh fruits or veggies while your counts are down either. (The harbor SERIOUS germs if not cooked for the immuno- compromised.) WHen I did bone marrow transplants, we didnt even let our patients have fresh flowers. The potting soil is bad juju if you get it on your hands without enuff WBC's. (Im sure your doc has told you all this.)

Elkslayer.....one more thing..try to keep your nutrition up while your bodu sufferes the abuse from the chemo. I know it may be hard right now, but try if you can. Lotsa protein to get that hair re-generated!!!
