Kids were playing basketball in the driveway last night…. I was walking by to go look for something behind the shop…… my boy kind of darted in front of me….. I lost my balance and went down like an old growth redwood…… landed flat on my hip…. Shattered…. Spent all day today getting pins n screws installed….. I’ve had some pretty serious injuries and damn if this isn’t one of the most painful….. they gave me shot glass worth of dilaudid and it didn’t even make a dent in the muscle spasms….. also did a femoral nerve block, muscle relaxers and a bunch of other hardcore pain meds and still never got it under control 🥴🥴🥴
Happened around 8pm….. only so much the ER doc could do overnight…. Finally around 7am the anesthesiologist and orthopedic surgeon showed up and they knocked me the fugg out….. woke up about 5 hours later still super sore but at least the muscle spasms are gone and it’s tolerable……. I’m pretty depressed….. my little girl is 14 and just got her first deer tag….. supposed to be trying to get her her first buck in about 4 weeks….. this schit sucks 😔

Damn that Sucks!! Broke my right hip about 30 years ago, horse fell on me, it's rare that I sleep over 3 hours without getting up to walk around, it's 2:30 am here and i'm up hip hurts real bad tonight. hope you have better luck with your hip than i have had with mine. Rio7

My son broke his hip falling on a bicycle two years back. Bolts and screws to put it back together. At this point in time he’s doing well.
I hope you heal up quickly.
