I was in Kansas visiting family last week and had the opportunity to visit GA Precision ( https://www.gaprecision.net/), the salesman Eric gave me a full tour of the facility and let me handle some of their rifles available for sale. Really a first class operation and with some state of the art custom rifle options, all designed for accuracy (no fancy wooden stocks here). Their rifles are expensive but they all are these days but if you are spending that much money, I'd have confidence in these guys doing it right. The rifle I'm holding, so they tell me, was used by Brandley Cooper in the movie American Sniper (from what I can gather, it was used in the scene when he was back home in TX at the range).

GAP makes incredible rifles.

That's a must-see in KC.
So how long is your wait to get the one you ordered?

I didn't buy anything but it was tempting, I've got most of my bases covered and don't really target shoot but their Pinnacle Production Rifle is a real bargain, they offer about 100 per year and are sold out online in the first few hours. https://www.recoilweb.com/gnats-ass-production-class-the-gap-ppr-157467.htmlA hunting friend of mine has one of their custom builds and it's very nice and accurate. They are about 6-8 months out for one of their builds but a little less if you have parts to assemble. It appears they are are the reason it takes to long to get a Manners stock as I think they get them all, shelves full of them waiting for a barreled action.

...no fancy wooden stocks here... Nope, but they did have a Foundation Dominion in 300 WSM for sale that looks more like wood than anything else (save McMillan McWoody). https://foundationstocks.com/products/dominion/Yes, I saw the rifle when I was there, it was a customers rifle sent in for work, not one they built.
