Will the stock from a Miroku made Browning 1886 carbine fit an original Winchester 1886? I know some of the parts are not interchangeable but can’t remember if the stock is one of them.

I had a buttstock from a Winchester 1886 extra light fitted to a Browning 1886. Both rifles were made by Miroku and it wasn’t a straight swap. The buttstock needed quite a few changes before it would fit the Browning.
