Smith & Wesson 1006 for sale only.

If you're familiar with S&W 3rd gen pistols, you know that these things are reliable, accurate and durable. The ones that I have owned will digest anything you feed them (in their caliber). This particular example is nearly perfect, lacking even the requisite arc scratched under the take down lever. All stainless steel, 5" barrel, 9+1 capacity, fixed sights. You will be hard pressed to find another one this clean. If it's been fired, it's been very few rounds. I myself have not fired it. I will sell it with an extra mag, so 2 mags go with the pistol. No box.

$1250 firm for the pistol, shipped. No box.

No electronic payment, USPS money order only or a stack of hundreds would be lovely. Ship from my FFL to your FFL.

First to post here "I'll take it" followed by PM, gets the gun.

Cross posted!

Thanks for looking!

Almost exactly the 10mm I desire... anyone know if it can be easily converted to DAO?

If you can't be a good example, may you at least serve as a dreadful warning

It's probably possible. The 1046 is the same gun in DAO. Might find one on GB.

And I believe a S&W 1076 is a SA/DA with a decocker like a sig P220.

There were a bunch of variants and sub-variants. All of these S&W 10xx pistols are nice guns.

Good luck with your sale.

I think Sonny shot a Bren Ten and then went to a S&W 4506. That's the extent of my knowledge regarding Sonny Crockett - the important stuff. I also own a 4506 and it too is one fine pistol.

Probably couldn’t get magazines for the Bren😛

True, there was a magazine shortage, but lack pf, and cost of, 10mm blanks led to the use of the 45.

I’d still like to have a Bren Ten, even knowing that the GEN3 S&W are tanks! There must be a Bren collector here in PA, because I see a dealer posting them in GB now and then. Crazy prices of course. If I hit the Powerball, I’d buy them up, and start a Bren factory!

Any of you guys ever start watching a post and wrestle with the decision to buy and you keep checking the post and thinking and waiting for the price to go down $50. Then you finally decide to drop the hammer, but somebody else just said "I'll take it"...

Yeah...me neither. Was asking for a friend.

Up for the morning guys!

Sure, but you're an internet savant. You have about 30,700 more posts than I have. I'm an internet lightweight, a virtual embryo (see what I did there?).
