To say that I’m a fan of the Pentax DCF SP line of binoculars would be an understatement. I currently have them in 8x32, 8x43 (two sets), 10x43 and 12.5x50. I’m selling the better of my two 8x43’s as I’m thinning the herd and have other binos that need to get used as well. This particular set has been used heavily, but they are still fully functional. There are some marks on the armor and some swirls in the lenses, but nothing that truly impacts performance. The biggest flaw is that when the eyecups are being screwed out (for proper viewing sans glasses), they get a little wobbly/wonky as they come out. They settle in fine but I’m particular about my binos so I notice it. If you use glasses with your binoculars then it is a non-issue. Do some research on these binoculars and you will find they were very highly regarded - especially at their original $550 price point. They competed very well with the alpha glass of their time. I compared them yesterday vs newer alpha and near alpha glass and they still hold their own. This set comes with the box, paperwork, case and neck strap as originally purchased. $225 shipped will get you the best bang for your buck in the bino world. If you don’t like them send ‘em back and I will refund your $. Check or money order preferred.

I bought the 8 X 43 models shortly after they came after reading how good they were considering their price point. At that time they compared favorably with binoculars costing $1000+. Still have and use mine and at your price they are an absolute steal. GLWS.

I have these in 8x43 & 10x43. they are well worth more than the seller's asking price. If you need a really good usable binocular, this is the one.

Have a friend that has a pair of these. They are damn nice binoculars. Someone will be very happy with them ..

They are nice. I have one and lost the eyecup on one side and a call to Pentax for a new cup required my original receipt which, of course, was long gone. So they now sit in the closet. GLWS.

Good snag. I’d have taken them in a minute if I’d seen the listing sooner.
