I know this is a long shot but looking for a very specific saw. Husky 55, not a 55 Rancher. Looking for one produced around 1998 +\-
They came with .325 chain (not 3/8” like 55 Rancher) and 16-20” bars, but all that isn’t important to me as I can change any of that.
Will pay top dollar for the right, very low hour, unmolested Husky 55
Thanks for looking and for any leads…

I understand your want for this generation of saw.
I have a 50.
It starts in the coldest winter, and after many years of use, has only needed a new pull start assembly.
Great saws!

My wife bought me one new 25 years ago and it has been the best saw I’ve ever had and still runs like a banshee. It will scream. Sounds like it hits a power band and really can sing. Quick revving, great limbing saw. It’s getting some wear and I’d love to have a like new one to replace it. I have a 42 special from the same era and it is a good one also but my 55 is something special. Maybe I got an exceptional sample, I’m not sure. Runs like a ported saw but hasn’t been touched
