made some window frames this past week and went to home depot for some behr exterior white satin paint,,,$47.98 a gallon,,,last year i paid $32.00,,,couldn’t believe it!!!

You can't double the money supply without halving the value of each dollar. Simple math. The market just needs time to sense the change, then adjust prices.

I can, we've been painting the kitchen and will put up metal backsplash when that's done. All that stuff is nearly double from a couple years back.

Damn the money changers! It's the cruelest form of tax increase, since it really only effects the middle and lower classes. The upper classes have enough investment capital to actually use various tricks to increase their real wealth during periods of inflation.

A month ago I had one of my A/C units replaced, $6500 for 5 tons. Next week the second one will be replaced, $6000 for 4 tons. Both 20 year old units.
