I think it’s just a tough time Rick. Any Meopta scope I’ve ever owned was a good-great scope. If it said Zeiss, it would probably be gone. Thank all the scumbags in DC for this awful economy.

Rick the sad reality is, i've had Zeiss branded, Meopta branded and Cabelas Instinct scopes and sold each brand at some point. You can advertise a 3-9x40 in each of the above at the same price and the Zeiss would sell first every time. Meopta and and Cabelas Instinct are harder to sell every time, even tho its just different labels on the 3-9x. Free bump GLWYS
Meopta are great scopes.Back in the day, they built the Conquest line under license from Zeiss. I had a Meopta 3.5x10 that had what looked like a fly spec on the interior of the lens in the upper left quadrant. Drove me nuts. It was just too much of a distraction. After several years, sitting in a drawer, I sent it back to Meopta. Seems I sent it to the wrong address for warranty work. After 2 months I received a new 3.5x10 no questions asked.
