Im buying a deer cart at Rural King. Gonna modify it a little. Lock it up in the bed of the Colorado with one of those bike cable locks.
Homie getting old. Dragging that buck outta 44A last fall by myself was.... Challenging... Thank God for slumlord and the jet sled assist on call with the other buck on the COE Property. Get some shoulder bolts or something. Imo, the pins are the week point because they allow it to flop around. I hauled a buck over a half mile using wheelbarrow with 2 front wheels. I could have run with the thing if I wanted, that was the easiest retrieval ever.

Great pics. It makes me regret not moving to Fairbanks after HS. I was on the verge of doing it and backed out There’s ups and downs to Fairbanks….winter is rough but the trapping kicks ass. You just got to think outside the box and get away from the crowds, just like with hunting or trapping anywhere else. The Sitka/Kuiu warriors on wheelers have me fed up, so I am flying to Dillingham tomorrow for a two week moose hunt instead of dealing with the madness anywhere close to town.

Lion kill in Zim. We loaded the stench onto the Land Cruiser and it was dinner for some.

No rain here but there is a damn wild sunflower at a job in Aransas Pass I'm doing that's at least 12ft tall. Need to get a pic of it tomorrow. Gonna measure this crazy SOB behind the house Planted the seeds from all the same head This is a freak ! If you look close to where the sunflowers meet the oak tree you can see the top of a 6ft privacy fence, that sunflower in the back is every bit of 12ft.

Best buck I seen this morning, came over a ridge to glass a basin, he was 40 yards under me, bolted down and back up the other side. Came home, working out of town the next 3 days. Kent

Your MIL does look great for 82. I meet dad for breakfast when I’m around and last week we’d met at the local Farmers cafe, afterwards both my wife and I were amazed at how good dad is doing for 82.
Apparently 82 is the new 60. 👍🏼
Nice job fishing too.
