I've been looking around for rifle competitions and good Rifle Shooting Ranges near the Tidewater Virginia area. Would especially like to find a range with 600+ yards, but even 200-300 would be good for load development. I have interest and in some cases rifles suitable for PRS, F-Class, Vintage Sniper, High Power/Across the Course, Benchrest, NRL 22. I know Norfolk County Rifle Range has some rifle competitions and i intend to check into them.

Here are the places i know about now:
Norfolk Country Rifle Range - 100 yard range, some NRA High Power matches hosted at Academi, closed membership
Outer Banks Gun Club - 100 yard range, no rifle competitions
Front Range Defense - over 2 hrs away, but hold PRS matches and 1000 yard range
Odom Public shooting range - 100 yards
C2 Shooting Center - Va. Beach - 300 yard range, no competitions mentioned on their site. Super expensive for limited access. Almost seems like they are trying to push customers away?

I shot a few matches at Quantico in the late 90's. IIRC

When I was stationed at NAS Oceana, I used to shoot at the C2 range. It was a nice range but that was 35 years ago.

Covered benches, good stray bullet barriers and I think that at that time the longest targets were at 200 yards. I seem to remember that they were building the pistol (?) range to the right of the rifle benches when I left.

I just looked at it on my GPS app and it does appear to have a 300 yard range now as you mentioned.
