Just that? Looking at a wood casket for about $1,900.
What do you think?

Do you have a GoFundMe account?

Please post...

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Buddy made his own. It’s up in a loft at his cabinet shop. Guess that’s one way to deal with mortality

I want my buddies to do a viking funeral. Pile all my hunting and fishing stuff in my boat on top of my corpse and light us on fire. My buddies can have whatever stuff of mine they want and burn the rest.

I can’t imagine spending money on crap to just rot in after being dead anyway.

Cremate, scatter my ashes, and everyone move on.

Asking the cost of a casket is like asking the cost of a car. A wide range in so called quality, comfort (seriously, they might mention that) life expectancy, or how good it seals. You know, to keep critters from entering your loved ones final resting place.

Funeral home likely makes more money on a casket/vault sale than they do for the body prep or the service. Not to mention all the jewelry & gold teeth they snag.

If you are asking this due to a recently diseased loved one I apologize for the cold straightforwardness, but the fact doesn't change.

My stepdad is 93 and on Hospice, we are going to town this coming week to check it out, he was a craftsman with metal at Texas Instruments, their number one welder for all stainless, he likes all stainless everything, could be very expensive casket, if they still make them, that’s what he got for my mother.

....and spend over $800 for the special cheap assed cardboard box the state requires you to buy.
