Wtf is wrong with you? My son makes the absolute BEST BLTs and because I raised him right I am quite confident he has never even contemplated anything but Mayo.

Burley You're correct on all accounts. The garden tomatoes are the star of the show.

Lightly toasted white bread like peppridge farm, fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce and a couple pieces of thick cut smoked bacon and Hellmans mayo. Generous amount of pepper and some salt.

Mayo. I’m not all that picky about mayo but Hellmans is what I generally buy unless Dukes is BOGO then I roll with that. I dont eat many sandwiches other than on deer hunting trips so not much call for mayo at the house. I do enjoy a BLT once in a while.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

I love a good BLT. Mayo is the only way to go IMO. I’ve never heard of ranch for a BLT.

Lightly toasted Artisan Brioche bread, Wright’s thick sliced bacon(bends without breaking, homegrown sliced tomatoes, mayo with Kraft creamy horseradish - also good in homemade tartar sauce with sweet or dill relish served on fish sandwich). 4 hamburger dill pickle slices. Cut out the lettuce unless homegrown- don’t wanna get ecoli. We generally get Kraft mayo or Dukes. My cousin grows homegrown Carroll Co tomatoes. Usually a selection of Marion, Beefsteak, Better Girl, or Big Boy with some heirlooms like Creole and Cherokee thrown in. I sometimes add Gouda cheese slices to the BLT and homemade Groton’s fish sandwiches. Good stuff. Also jalapeños or hot sauce. Ideally tastes best with cola, RC or Coke

Miracle Whip or nothing.
If a good tomato is hard to find, a slice of sweet onion is a good substitute.

I just can't do the tomato - literally makes me puke - dammit! Strangely, I love ketchup, Italian sauce and especially salsa! NO problems! Go figure!

Mayo with a sprinkle of table sugar. The sugar really makes the sandwich great.
Miracle whip in a pinch if no mayo.
Sometimes dress it up with an over easy fried egg.

When the revolution finally breaks out, after the violence, and the country Balkanizes, I see BLTs could become a major stumbling block on the road to re unification.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.
