I am looking for a web-site for getting bullets. I used to have the web-site for Kodiak Bullets. They used to be at: 'http://www.hunting-rifles.com'. However, they no longer list just the bullets, only loaded ammo. A web search didn't help much either. Can somebody help me?

Thanks in advance.

I cant find it either. I used to pull up their site by doing a search on "Alaska Bullet Works", but didnt come up with anything. A local store here had a big sale on them recently, maybe they went under?

Thanks for the heads up. Which store? I may have a friend try to get some bullets if not sold out. I'm in the 'Bush'. I'll be in Anchorage within the week. Some digging around my gun room should uncover their brochure. I believe it has their phone number and address in Juneau or Douglas if my memory is correct. I'll go look right now.

I asked the same question on another forum recently. Here is the link to the information I secured.

Where did you say we are going? And why are we in this handbasket?

I have shot the .30cal 220's. Not very good performance with the powder/charges I was trying. May have to try a different powder. I was using H4831sc. Might try IMR4831 or IMR4831 (have both). Maybe a primer switch from CCI250 to Fed215M's. I've been using CCI's for over 25 years in that gun without problems. I shoot a 300H&H. Have some of their 180's that I haven't shot yet. The rifle loves assorted Barnes, Hornady and Speers from 168-200gr. Therefore, I believe it's combo above that is my issue. I've heard good things about terminal performance.

I'm going to try and call Kodiak Bullets in the next day or two. I will post my results here.

Also, I have some in .270cal (130's and 150's)that are sitting on the bench shelf. Have shot neither as my bolt action .270Win is shooting everything I put in it 250-350 f.p.s. below listed velocities with 130gr. and 150gr. loads. This goes for factory and handloads. That's another issue for a different post.
