I’ll be cremated and ashes spread on the ranch I elk hunt on and my favorite deer stand here. Our son will keep a smidge of my ashes, load me in my favorite rifle and take me hunting one more time.

None, cremated and into a bio-urn. The family knows where to plant it. Headstones are silly because we are but short-term visitors to this rock.

FDR's casket was closed to hide the hole the 1911 left in his head. The "brain hemohrrage" story was true- - - -230 grain hardball has a habit of causing that kind of a problem. It was supposed to be a murder/suicide pact, but his mistress chickened out.

My ashes will be mixed with 5 pounds of Tannerite and lit off by my Marine grandson at the 300 yard berm of my rifle range, using the rifle I built for him.

I'm gonna be cremated and have my ashes dispersed all over North America via chemtrails by courtesy of the five largest airlines, whoever they are that week.

You shall all suffer my presence.

Don't be the darkness.

America will perish while those who should be standing guard are satisfying their lusts.

79S: The oldest two VarmintChildren will spread 1/4 of my ashes on my mothers grave and 1/4 of my ashes on my fathers grave - the younger two VarmintChildren have directions to my favorite Elk Hunting basin and will spread the other half of my ashes there - I will thus rest in peace.
No caskets for me.

Cremation. The everybody walk by and look at the decorated dead body thing is so incredibly weird.

Having a closed casket is as much closure to the surviving as folks that are murdered and their body never found but presumed dead.

I've never understood the grieving need to view dead bodies.

I think it's like hallmark holidays. The funeral homes created a demand for something that didn't exist prior.

It's a big business now a days. When more & more folks opted for cremation, the funeral industry severely jacked up the prices. Crooked bastards.

Some folks need to see a dead body to get it through their skull that they're gone.

I’d love to see the POS you “built.”

No they don't. Someone has convinced them they do.

I won't be there to experience or appreciate any of the aftermath, so the decision is up to my family. What they need/want for proper closure will be the best path - I trust them to do the right things.

I would love to be dropped in a crack between the rocks on the ranch, then more rocks just piled on to cover me. That’s the way it should be done.

"The Warden" says she's just going to throw a chain around my ankle, and drag me over the hill.
Let the coyotes have their revenge. laugh laugh laugh
Fine with me, I doubt I'll care at that point.
