i just wanted to give a shout out to Glenn and Richard at Outkast arms, i had them re-barrel and restock a winchester m70 30-06 over to 35 whelen. its sporting a 22 inch douglas 1-12 twist barrel and one of their proprietary light weight stocks and full length bedded it. i made it to the range today for its first range session and i am well pleased with how it preformed.

Looks like a negative comb which would be sweet for recoil. To add to the questions above, how long did it take to get?

Hello there.
The weight will vary with application. From the heavier ones for Winchester, Remington and Ruger's coming in at about 1lb 5oz to the lighter ones for like a Kimber being
much lighter. We build Kimber 84's easily under 5 lbs without scope. Thanks for the question.

JFYI, Our new stock design comes out of a modular mold. We have 3 different size molds that accommodate a wide range of actions. We convert most to a blind mag set up,
But we can keep bottom metal on some.
We have done Rem 700 short and long, Mod 7, 600 and others.
Win model 52, And most of the M70 configurations.
Ruger model 77
Sako A2/597
And probably others I have forgotten.

Hello there, If it is an action we have done. The cost is $750+return shipping. That is a finished painted and installed stock.
The price is the same if it's something we haven't done, But are likely to do again.
If it is something odd ball that we will never make again and we have to make a new insert for our mold, then the price will be more. Tooling epoxy is expensive.

Thanks for the question.

Hello there, Turn around time on something we have already tooled up for is usually under a month. If we have to make new tooling, it will take longer.
Thanks for the question.

I am happy to answer any questions anybody may have, but I don't get on here often and I haven't figured out how to get notifications from here on my phone yet. Lol.
Best way to reach me is a facebook message through our facebook page.

It looks like a NULA stock for different models, is that correct?

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

Nice rifle, ilikeguns! Congrats. Thanks for sharing this.

This stock bedded and installed on whatever you like for $750? How is this not a game changer?

It is similar, The same basic lines, Still kevlar. Just made in a different process. I designed our mold to be modular. What that means is the stock can be made in left or right hand. With or without drop comb. And with or with out a grip swell, out of the same mold. It's kind of hard to imagine if you have no experience with an open mold. But it works pretty slick.
Thanks for the question.

Hello there, It depends on the configuration that they are built to. They come out of the mold at about 14oz.
We have never done a proof, but I am sure we can.
Thanks for the question.
