Hills Bros High Yield.
It isn't the best coffee by any means, but it's cheap, and has a decent flavor if you drink it straight. No idea how it takes to sugar or dairy.

I like Copan Cafe from Copan Coffee Roasters. It’s a Honduran coffee. I also order quite a bit from Norfolk Coffee & Tea in Norfolk, VA. They are a family run business and have good coffee. Nice staff as well.

With 2 morning smokes. Hell you can even make it in a canteen cup with c rat or mre components, a heat tab, small jet stove, even a small below ground fire out of sticks, twigs, even c rat or mre cardboard or paper packaging anywhere on this rock and get your day started. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 #drankplentyofcoffeevaritiesonthisplanet....

My dad drank instant coffee. Black. Double strength.
As in, read the directions on the back and double whatever amount it says.

That cup and saucer had to have been a gift, too. Surprisingly no. I actually bought that for myself. A mutual acquaintance liked a photo on Facebook of some pottery and I liked the design too. So I used Google Translate to send the ceramicist, Marika Akilova, in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia an email asking her if she'd make a bunch of sets for me & ship them to the USA. I kept a couple for myself & gave the rest away as gifts.

Funny thing, I normally enjoy coffee but haven't had any for three months. Not because of any conscious decision on my part, I just haven't felt like a cup.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Growing up in south Louisiana, it seemed like just about everyone drank Community Coffee since it was the local brand & it was pretty good stuff. It’s the only choice amongst a variety of K-cup pods at our deer camp in Mississippi. I drank a lot of café au laits with French roast coffee & chicory so I generally brew my coffee strong & mix it with milk out of habit. Black is okay but I don’t like it as much. I was gifted a Breville espresso machine recently that I really like & I’ve been grinding whole beans from the nearby Fresh Market. If this is too “foo foo” for some people then I’ll just turn in my man card & enjoy my newly diminished status while sipping on a latte. Because that machine ain’t going anywhere. Gave a similar machine as a gift to my future D-I-L - she loves it, tho like the guy who recommended it to me (uber coffee nerd, works in the industry) - the wand apparently sucks. Aftermarket available. I'm a drip guy so I don't really know.

Mulvadi 100% Kona whole bean, ground seconds before filling a drip coffee maker. Do you live on the Big Island? Some great coffee tasting there while driving around finding places to snorkel and body surf. Generally had a good coffee buzz going by the time we got back to the hotel!

It's heavenly coffee Haven't they outlawed coffee in CO yet? I heard they were going to mandate Kombucha or Chai only, just so they could beat Cali to it.

About 6 weeks ago I was introduced to some coffee from Independence Coffee Company in Brenham, Texas. I liked it so much that I ordered five 24 oz. bags. The flavor that I’m partial to is called Madalyn’s Backyard Pecan. https://www.independencecoffee.com/
