I would not have gotten one if it were not such a fantastic deal when a local grocery chain stopped selling guns and had a 60% off sale on the first 10% off Geezer Day sale... 60% off and 10% of that off equals 36% of their lowest sale price... less than $200 each for the two they had left when I got there.
Now I think it was a screaming deal on a useful little rifle. was that store a Freddie's ? Seems like they did away with most sporting goods in OR too. another yes...

we didn't have Freddie's where I lived at the time in S NV and N AZ so when I moved to Juneau in '07-08 I thought it was pretty cool for them to have a gun counter.

Between two WallSmart, two Freddie's, and a Cabela's deal I have picked up a bunch of incredible deals! I keep thinking I will never match a particular deal, but then I do...

I’ll tell you what makes one hell of a fun package: buy a Charger takedown and a Magpul Backpacker stock. Drop the Charger into the Magpul stock and add a suppressor. Stupid fun! Photos to follow… and don’t do this unless you have a tax stamp first, of course.
