I am looking for real data and not why I shouldn't level an 2018 F-150. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I put a moderate leveling kit on a 2020 F150, along with a grill guard and winch and barely saw any MPG change. I've heard they can drop fuel economy, but I didn't see it.

I can't give you clean data. I put a 2" leveling kit and 35's on my 2020 f150. I think it dropped my mpg by 1 mpg or so, but it's hard to say. Probably mostly the bigger tires. I honestly don't really calculate mpg in my truck.

I moved up to 34” E-rated all terrains a few months after my leveling kit and winch. The digital mpg counter took about a 2-2.5mpg hit.

Yep. The kit itself has no effect on MPG. It's the taller tires you'll install now that you can that'll drop your mileage.

Put a leveling kit on a 2013 w/ Ecoboost. Also put on 10” wide rims with spacers so my tires extend outside the well a touch. That combo dropped 1.5-2 MPG but looks and rides much better. Setting it up for my soon to be 15 yo.

Well. it's the Campfire so I'll offer the required disagreement. grin

All the trucks that are nose down allow air to move over top of the smooth hood, windshield etc. as opposed to going underneath & buffeting around all the off shaped parts of the undercarriage.

Mileage won't likely change more than 1-2 mpg, but the low front is just another trick of the mfr. to try & meet unrealistic gov't mileage standards. A little here & there.

Silly question, you guys are recalibrating your speedometer to account for the taller tires?

I’m not. Mine’s about 2-3mph off on highway, 3-4 on interstate.

The leveling kit did not change my fuel mileage by any noticable amount. The bigger tires did, about 1.5-2 mpg less. Yes, I did recalibrate for tire size.

Don't forget about the plastic air dam as well, which usually gets broke the 1st time off the pavement.

I raised my GMC 1 1/2", added a little taller 10 ply tires, and took off the air dam.

MPG didn't get hurt too bad, but takes a beating on the four lane.

The air dam was already removed. I'm installing a "brush/deer" guard (incoming) and will see how it sits.

As it sits now.

2"" front level kit on my 2018 f150, 3.5 ecobost, a full replacement grillguard, cow pusher bumper.
