Hello all!
I have for sale a set of factory Sako rings. Marked Sako, and Finland. Screws are actually in pretty good shape. Scratches and bluing loss on the tops. $85 shipped wherever a small flat rate box goes. Paypal F&F, Check, or postal money order. Please claim them here and then PM for payment and shipping arrangements.
Thanks,
Rick

I was asked what diameter tube they fit and I had thought 1”. I just measured and they don’t appear to be round. I get from .840” to .950”. I need to drop the add and maybe sell them for parts.
Thanks everyone,
Rick

Are the tops matched with the bottoms? I’d check that and then cinch them down on a lapping rod, tap them with a brass hammer…

You will notice when a 1 inch scope is mounted in a set of rings, there is a gap between where the rings come together. Scope rings are made to hold a scope securely on a rifle, not totally encapsulate the scope tube with the rings being tight together.

You need to show the side view of the rings to determine that they are matching. Sako rings are made of solid bar stock steel and have marks to show proper alignment with the correct ring, both top and bottom…

Can you tell me the numerical designation on the bottom of the ring set? It should be 25.4 or 26?

The rings are marked 25.4 on the bottom. Shrapnel hit the mail on the head. I took a cap off and a 1” scope sits in the bottom half as it should and the cap fits properly also. Nothing wrong with them as far as I can tell other than the scratches/bluing loss as pictures.
Back on the market for $85 shipped wherever a small flat rate box will go.
Thanks, and sorry for the confusion,
Rick
