I recently purchased and just earlier today, opened a S&W 41 spout's parcel (7" no threads Old School) and was immediately taken aback. There are no cut(s) for the slide to travel it's way to/from battery. It simply strikes me,as a spout pulled from Production, minus said cuts. Hint.

No big deal, schit happens. So I call S&W and get a nice sounding gal on the phone and she's 100% fhuqking CLUELESS. She can't begin to fathom that it's solely the component barrel issue and reiterates at every breath, that I "need to send my pistol in and they'll look at it". She's unwilling to peruse pictures pinpointing same and I likely insulted her,by asking if she was "familiar with he '41" and she went off the tracks. I then asked "how does it disassemble",knowing full well she'd never even fhuqking seen one. HILARITY ensued. Hint.(grin)

If only because I puke lotsa wares and have played the game countless times,I simply found it interesting, that S&W went full Reupold too. Hint.

Fhuqking LAUGHING!...............

Smith's I foolishly let go:

M41
M52
M29 w/silhouette sights and non-fluted cylinder
M17 8 and 3/8" bbl
Pre-M27 early fifties .357

All were exceptionally accurate. Sold to chase others.

Enjoy the M41.
