wabigoon; Good evening to you my friend, I hope the day was kind to you and you're all well.
We're going to need snow to put out the ones around here and it'll take about 3 days straight of steady rain to knock the ignition conditions back.
Just this last week the one west of us and another one north of us blew up again causing evacuation alerts.
We saw a few areas smoking pretty good across the valley when we were up hunting this morning.
It's been that kind of a year.
All the best to you all wabigoon.

Pretty much done throuh out the western US. A major weather system is coming through and will hang on for a few days. Our season nationwide was normal as far as fire numbers, but abouit 1/3 of the ten year average number of acres burned.
