Can you give me advice on getting a battery tender/charger for my 4 wheeler. The Polaris had a nice one, but wanted 55$ for it. They said it was special because you could use it for lithium or regular batteries. What say you. Thanks for any advice. John

I have a couple Deltron Battery tender jrs as well. My atvs are kept in Alabama in my warehouse near my hunting lease but I live in SWFL 9 hrs away. I pull the batteries in both atvs and bring them home and hook up the tenders for the 8 mos off season. Both my tenders are 6 years old and no issues.

I have all of my equipment at home. I have a snowplow on my UTV and run it as needed so it stays charged up. I have a lawn tractor. About once a month, I start it and let it run 15 or 20 min to thoroughly warm it up and charge the battery. Then I have 2 camp trailers. My beater of a hunting trailer has acid batteries. I have onboard smart charger that I leave plugged in all winter that keeps the batteries topped up as needed. The other trailer has Li batteries. Those are a different story. They can't be charged below the freezing point. They have to be taken inside to keep charged. Last winter, I only had to recharge them once and they were only down about .2 volts. Li's hold a charge very well.

I like NOCO products If your battery is in an awkward location Suggest these hard wired charger extentions Simple plug & play Use 'em on my Kawi Teryx during winter months

The Stanley One Touch is quite a nice one. 2 amp trickle charge, 6 amp automatic battery charger and 8 amp battery boost all in one unit. That unit comes with both alligator clips and a pig tail DC connector that you can plug into your car's cigarette lighter socket that charges or maintains your car battery. I ordered more of those pig tail connectors from Stanley because it uses the same split connection to the 12 volt 800 milliamp $35.00 Walmart Battery Tender Junior by Dellran. That little Walmart Junior is plugged into my SUV and my truck cigarette lighter socket right now and another Junior with the alligator clips is on my Polaris ATV to keep the battery charged. Works great.
My other auto is a .45
