Sending my 336 out and getting back a 356/358. It'll have an 18 inch barrel, stub mag. tube, and no barrel bands when I get it back. I'll just have to lose the safety block it'll have when it gets back. There's a bunch of swapping and stuff going on, so it's hard to really put a price on the deal. My out of pocket is going to be about $215.00 shipped. It should be the cool beans of a thick stuff boomer.

corelokt,
Who is doing the work ? Are you having the barrel cut also as part of the work ? Is the front sight going to be re-installed ? Keep us posted when you get the rifle back.

Nonneman is doing it all. He is going to reinstall the sight after cutting the barrel. It'll be a factory 35cal rechambered, so I guess 250gr. bullets are out, but 225's are ok.
