Ever since I was a kid, in hunting season, I always carried a big handful of Atomic Fireballs with me. I guess they’re a little harsh for some folks, (I believe they’re 3500 on the Scoville Scale, about the same as jalapeño peppers) but I love them! Every year before hunting season comes in, I hit Lieghtys in Newry to stock up on a pound or two. Last week they had none. I asked the fellow who was restocking the candy. He told me they quit making them! They had some cinnamon candy, which I bought, but it’s nowhere near the Fireballs. Maybe a little bag of jalapeños along with the cinnamon balls might help. We’ll see. The leaves are starting to turn, and squirrel season is in now. I love potting squirrels with a good.22. Reon

When i was a youngster..
There was a local grocery store that had self serve wall of candy.
To a kid it looked 50ft long and 12ft high. 😂😂
You could get atomic fireballs there. Bulk. No cellophane wrappers.
And licorice.

I believe Sam’s club sells them in bulk packs of 250 or so still. They were a nickel each in the 80’s and I cashed in a lot of pop cans for a pair of them.

I remember having those when I was a kid, they were always individually wrapped and only hot for the first 10-15 seconds. Match grade dual purpose slingshot ammo.. good times.
What ever happened to the little Lemonhead boxes? Boston baked beans candy, and Mike n Ikes? I'm pretty sure the Lemonheads wear coated in concentrated citric acid powder. Rancid ass [bleep].

We stopped to a candy shop this weekend the kid bought the last 50 they had in stock. Some guy went and bought up several candy manufacturers and started discontinuing the candies he thought was profitable. Yet they still manufacture candy corn

Lemonheads have an off flavor. Reg lemondrops better. Do like Grapeheads though. The company used to be called Ferrara Pan, but is just Ferrara now, web says sold in 2017. Hence the slight name change

Ny wife ordered them for me the last time. They are the bigger ones not the ones the size of a marble. I always liked them until my teeth started going bad. I have about a half gallon of them left that I am not using, Most people say they are too hot for them. the ones she bought last time are about the size of a boulder marble and individually wrapped.
