Looking for a holster for my S& W model 60 with 1 7/8 barrel. OWB. Gonna be my EDC! Any good recommendations? Thoughts?

Thanks
Steve

I have a bunch of handguns and related holsters.

The advantage of the Mod 60 it is light and easy to grab going out the door. In which case I just use a nylon pocket holster (which the guns stays in) and shove it into my vest pocket. No excuse to not have it at any and every time, even to the mailbox. A little practice at the range, very easy to shake off the gun.

The other holster I use for the Mod 60 is a DeSantis "Sky Cop". A cross draw, leather, stays outa the way, secure but easy to get to. Nice in the drivers seat or sitting in turkey blind or on a dove hunting stool.

Unfortunately, the "Sky Cop" has apparently been discontinued. The good news is the "ROSCOE CROSS DRAW" looks very similar.

My .223 cents worth.

Super easy gun to carry. IWB is always best for concealment, and least printing through cover garments. I used to carry mine occasionally in a Milt Sparks. I think it was the VM II. Great holster, but very expensive and you will have to wait many months for it.

But being so easy to carry and conceal, you could probably look at the offerings from either El Paso Saddlery, Galco, Bianchi, or DeSantis. They all make good products.

No matter what else I may be carrying, my old 442 tends to just stay in a front pocket.

I make 'em. Go to the Handgun sub-forum to see a couple of reviews of my work.

I like the Mitch Rosen 5JR Express. A very good holster for a reasonable price.

I have a Bianchi 105 Yaqui (sp?) slide that I originally bought for a S&W 637 but have used it to carry a 3” M60, a Sig 938 and with a tight fit, a Colt Commander 45. This one has a small rubber o-ring for the hammer but one I specifically ordered for the Commander is the same size but has a larger o-ring to hook over the hammer.
