Retired just over six months. If I get bored, there is a large quantity of empty brass just a few feet away.
And, I know how to make more empty brass.

Fairly young, yes I guess. Retired? Never. Bored? No, I'm upstyling my garage and check in here when I feel like it. I keep taking stuff from work to improve my garage, God bless those people for throwing out awesome things.

53, young? Not retired, mildly retarded. Off work because I've been allowed to carry extra vacation days for 2 years. Haven't used many, 172 hours that have to be used by the end of the year.
Bored?
Kinda.
Split some wood, went shopping. Split some more, looked at a task I should be doing now.....

I retired with 2040 plus vaca hrs accrued over the last 41 years. It made for a nice severance check. It is a challenge to keep it out of the hands of the IRS.

It took me some adjustment, worked for 50 years, but I like metal work so I spend time doing that when it’s not hunting season. I built this for a deer stand the last two weeks. Crap like this occupies my time. I have a piece of 42” pipe I’m gonna make a fire pit out of before long. I’m giving thought to one last bbq pit too.

Quasi-retired with plenty to do and tagged my one fall turkey yesterday with deer season in the horizon. Going to hold off on drawing SS since don’t need it now and wait until I can draw the maximum amount. Life is pretty good except for living in the state full of whackos!

I feel like you're a really good friend to me now after reading so much about you getting boom boom and such. You reckon you can make one of those (delivered to Pa) for around $1500? Thanks in advance Hanco

I' just turned 65, been off work awhile med retired. Put up a ladder stand today, wife's son helped me some. Used to do this all the time by myself. We are going to put another one up tomorrow, I worked on it today. May be my last year to hunt out of one my balance is not good anymore. Put up a tent blind the other day. Bow season opens on Sunday but calling for 80s . I'll wait till it cools off some!
Deer Camp! about as good as it gets!
