So thinking here - a lot of UTV's utilize the CVT/Belt transmission. How does one compensate for increased tire size then? Is it just clutching in the CVT?
RMAX 1000 comes with 30 inch tires, would like that to be 32 or 33 if I could (don't know if I can - just bench racing) - how does one make sure the CVT keeps up?

Since no one has answered I will offer my opinion. I don’t think larger tires would affect the CVT system operation. I think you would get more top end speed but it would take longer to get there and you would sacrifice torque. Basically the same size pulley running a larger pulley if that makes sense.

The common mods for increasing tire diameter and weight with CVT quads and SxS units are clutch springs, clutch weights, shims, and machined sheaves. Lots of info out there on the forums.

With 32's you likely will not need to do any clutching unless you want to. You can google RMAX clutch kits and there are several different aftermarket companies that have kits for larger tires. I run 35's on my SxS and really didn't need a kit but I like to fine tune so I have ramps and springs in mine.
