That state causes huge problems for our national government. They have 55 electoral votes which the Democrat candidate has in the bag. It isn't their rural voters. They are typical westerners but the millions on the coast just outvote them, and won't turn them loose to form their free state of Jefferson.
The coastal people of California gave us our idiot VP and I don't use the word idiot lightly. We likely will get an even worse senator than Feinstein.
