Don't ask me why, but it looks like a really fun deer load in a 308...

Anyone ever try them? in any cartridge? They go through both sides of em? Not the Tac-TX black tips made for 300BLK (which work just great) but the blue tipped TTSX built for higher speeds.

Why not? They can make 3150 or better, should be a smoking deer load out to 300 or a bit more. Like a .243 with more frontal area. Been thinking about it myself, as 300 is as far as I will ever shoot on my place.

Shot the 110 7mm at 3200+ from a 7mm-08 carbine. It smoked stuff at reasonable ranges. Bullets exited regularly. I like the 120/7mm, 130/30cal boattail versions better, but the flatbases do work.

Not the 110s you asked about but I recently worked up a load with the 130TTSX in my 308s at 3130....but have yet to take anything with it.

Accuracy has been great. Plan to use it next month on Texas pigs and deer here in Ky.

Thats cool too! The praise on the boards here make that one sound like a winner. Same with JPro and the guys who shoot a lot of stuff with the 120gr 7mms etc.

7mm-08 looks like a nice way to split the difference.

Just have a lot of 308 Win brass on hand and lookin for something fun to do with it grin
