Went out on a new lake today and had a first ever double!

I was tossing a 75-Series whopper plopper and two nice largemouth smashed it and were hooked; one on each hook. A third was chasing with them trying to get the plopper.








The SMALL one was 17.5”!

Friggin AWESOME day on the topwater lotsa fish but this was AMAZING!

Anybody else ever had one?

With white bass, never while largemouth or smallmouth fishing.

In the mid nineties I knew of a wilderness pond/lake with an over population of stunted starving 10" largemouth. You could double up multiple times a day. Looking at the head to body ratio I think they ate all the forage and were starving. Still alot of fun after a few days of action packed muskie fishing.

Caught 2 smallmouth at a time twice as a kid . Once on a tiny torpedo the other time on a baby Zara spook. None were over 12 inches though

That’s nuts. Would be a blast.
