I have a Weatherby Mark V lightweight Rifle in 30.06 Springfield. Rifle is 6 lb.-13 oz. as pictured. 22" barrel and action are coated Stainless steel. Barrel has been threaded and a break added. A Timney trigger has been added. Has the Gray spiderweb lightweight stock that has been Hydro-dipped camo. Has a Decelerator recoil pad. Has Leupold QD scope bases. Sub-MOA gun / Great big game rifle.
Have to sell or trade for Quality 308Win. rifle for medical reasons. No heavy weight rifles. $1250.00
Nice rifle. Just trying to make sure which one you have. So was this a MK5 LWT Stainless that came with the synthetic (plastic) factory stock or perhaps a Fibermark stainless with the black Bell and Carlson stock? Thinking it was not a MK5 UL since it isn't fluted but your description of the Gray spiderweb stock sounds like an UL factory stock. Not trying to muddy the add, just clarifying. Also do you have a cover if the break is removed.

Thanks in advance.
I never looked up the number. I was told from the guy I got it from, that it was the model before the Ultralight weight. I have had several ultralight weights. This rifle does not have the 24" fluted pencil barrel. It does have the same ULW stock, not the plastic stock or aftermarket. I do not know if this is the factory stock that came on it. Barrel is 22" and coated Stainless, not blued and is 645 thick behind break. I had it threaded and added break. Bolt handle is not drilled.
If you know what was original factory on the LWT, please let me know. Thanks for any info on original Weatherby. I have had some Fibermarks, and those stocks are much lighter and cheaper than the ULW. Go figure.
