I want to buy this rifle badly, but the only way I could use it is if I put away my 70 classic 35 whelen. 30 years in the woods with that one. Killed everything I shot with it. Built by Matt Stewart, formerly of Surgeon rifles. Ugh

I advertised this here. Nothing but low-ball offers, sob stories and tire-kickers. Put it on GB, was there less than 72 hours, 15 watchers and a guy who lives in my state found it on GB, called, made a cash offer and it now has a new home. The above isn't the first time I've done this, GB has always been kind to me. Unfortunately, I think a lot of folks here just don't have the discretionary money they did a few years ago. Steve's rifle should've been gone long ago. Sad situation the whole way around.
