Not really wanting a Tikka they make great guns but it's not a 700 mountain rifle. The DM ones are great but the standard floor plate is a classier rifle IMO.

My dad has one in a 7mm08 and was trading for a 308 last week which are both awesome chambers in that rifle. But I had a 243 when I was younger and traded it off and wished I'd kept it. Killed a lot of deer with that little rifle probably one of my favorite all time chambers for whitetails.

Will do. You wanting wood/blued? If it didn't have the detachable magazine I'd definitely be watching it.

Looking for a wood stock and blue barrel 243 standard floor plate Rem 700 Mountain Rifle I may have what you're looking for. I'll try to remember to check when I get home from work. If you don't hear from me, send me a PM as a reminder. ETA: I do not have what you're looking for, my rifle is a M7 with the HS Precision Stock. If I run across what you're looking for, I'll let you know.
