I love to see the radial engines and they sound amazing too. I always wondered how the ones worked where the crank was stationary and the whole engine assembly spun with the prop. Seems it would be difficult for the fuel to feed into the cylinders with the centrifugal force.

When my Dad was 90 I quit so I could help him the last couple years of his life! I quit at 65 and now at 83 I fly every night! I was blessed because I never had one day I hated to go to work! Gave business to my son and he flies fires and and ag work!

The sound of a P&W radial always meant the start of a big adventure or heading home from one for me. Many trips in DeHavilland Beavers chasing moose, Caribou, and bears. Always a sweet sound and a neat ride in cool old airplanes.
