Not possible to beat that deal. I would have bought that with little thought. I had poor mans version of that Model 37 DAO from factory. Most compact 5-shot J-frame from S&W. I used molded cordura-type OWB holster from Bianchi. Very pro no nonsense setup.

Congrats on your find Ed. A hammerless or bobbed hammer J-frame is a great carry gun. Great price on it as well.

Alabama Holsters makes some great pocket holsters.
Nice gun.
Oh, by the way, the grips on that gun are designed to facilitate IWB carry without a holster at all. You will likely want to switch those if you intend to pocket carry it.

Ed, looks like you did great on finding that nice 38. I would call that a score.

Hard to beat a J frame for certain things. Mine goes along with me pretty often or just stuck in a fishing vest or tackle bag

Looks like a very handy and practical gun to always have with you.
Load it up with some wadcutters and slide it in your pocket and you are all set.
They do take some practice to become proficient with though. But that is part of the fun.

Got a snubby, Airweight, J-Frame .38 on me as I type, as I'm wearing a bathrobe, and it's always in the bathrobe pocket.

Good on yez...that's a sweet piece at a stole it price. For pocket holsters, I'm fond of Desanti's.
