I wouldn’t own a car, or especially a truck, without curb feelers or a disco ball rear view mirror ornament….I want to get every ounce of performance out of my vehicle and those are the 2 easiest ways to get it for the least amount of money. 😉

My grandma had them on her DeSoto - front and back on both sides.

They were a big item on cars back in my youth. We never owned a car back then, just an old pick up truck. miles

My Dad had them on his 1950 Hudson. I still remember that car. He had it for ten years and got it repainted after seven or eight. My Mon picked the colors and was way before her time with that. Turquoise over white. Straight eight motor and gear shift on the column.

It’s a popular weekend NEGRO modification. Everyone *should* know that.

Same with The Crown air freshener in the back window.

And don’t forget winged faux antenna mounted on the trunk lid ‘fo da teevee in yo carra’

Yoko Ono and John Lennon bought the Auburn House here...

Yoko had the basement filled with sand as she heard that would keep the ghosts away.

Curb feelers are much less stupid... by comparison.

Lennon was clearly on drugs when he hooked up with and married that skank. She must have had a magic snapper.

No, but I had fender skirts. Were not many curbs where I grew up for the feelers.

No, but before power steering they sometimes came in handy. Nearly got a couple fingers taken off by a billet steering wheel pulling up to the curb a little too fast. Still don't like power steering though!
