I bought this about 12 years ago Brand-New at a guns show. I have shot it quite a bit and was my Go-To gopher rifle for many years. It is extremely accurate, flat shooting and easy to carry around. I mounted a Leupold 2x7 Compact scope that I think fits the rifle about perfectly. It is dead on gopher getter to about 200 yards. These have a 22" barrel with a High Polish quality bluing. The European walnut stock has nicely cut-checkering The metal is all steel. Inexplicably, the one, 5-shot magazine is high strength polymer? These take the same magazines as the.22 Lr and they are commonly available in steel and plastic, 5 and 10 round, new and used. I have been very kind to the rifle and it only has a few very small dings and one scratch that I can find. The bluing is near perfect. I mounted high quality Control Rings and bases that fit the CZ top dovetail action. These 452 17HM2 rifles are no longer made and can be difficult to find. I've seen them sell for prices that don't make sense! I'm asking $800 firm+ $45 shipping Priority Mail.
