What rifle (model and chambering) did you use to kill your first deer and what rifle (" ") did you use to kill your most recent deer?
My first was with a Remington 770 in 300wm that had something like a 5-stage trigger and rusted if you looked at it too hard 😂😇. (That said, it was cheap enough for a college kid to buy new and shot 180s MOA).
My most recent was with a Marlin 336 (produced in 1992) in 30-30.
Gun season hasn't opened here yet but this year an Erma Werke m98 (1939 production) in 6.5x55 will be up to bat.

First deer Remington 721 in .270 Win. Last deer Remington 700 adl in .270 Win. I’ll probably give the 6.5 man bun a try on the next tag if I ever draw again.

thats an easy one. 1972 Winchester m94 in 30-30 with factory loads when i killed my first deer (spike). then years and years later, 1972 Winchester m94 in 35/3030 with 200gr RCBS FN GC and 2400/tuft of Dacron and it was fat 4pt. i still own the m94, but 5 or 6 years ago i sent the m94 to JES Reboring and i got back a 35/30-30. i put on a Williams FP aperture sight cause my eyes ain't what they once were. sighting it in i'm going to use my son's '16 Spanish Mauser in 6.5x55 with 120gr Nosler BT and IMR4350 for early doe.

First rifle I killed a deer with was a Winchester XTR featherweight 257 Roberts and a 120 grain Speer Hot Core. Last deer I killed was with a Ruger 77 in 7x57 in 2002 with a 154 grain Hornady SP. Back in the lower 48 now from Alaska and heading out tomorrow deer hunting. Hoping the 25-222 Copperhead with an 80 grain TTSX will find its way to a buck.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

First deer: pre-64 Model 70 Standard Rifle in .270 Winchester
Most recent deer: S&W Model 629
Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

First deer ever was a Remington 7400 30-06 borrowed from an uncle. First with rifle of my own was a Winchester 70 .270. Current rifle is a Remington 700 mountain rifle in a .308
Have many to choose from these days but a 6lb mountain rifle sure carries good and shoots really accurately.

First was an A-Bolt Medallion in 7 Mag when I was 12 years old. I hunted with it until I was 22 and sold it to fund a bow of some sort. I was gonna be the next Chuck Adams! Or so I thought.
The last one was a Ruger M77 Mark II 3o/o6. It was a good price, but still has not been sighted in yet.

My first: Rem 870 with Brenneke slug. I couldn't afford a rifle back then.
Last ones: DPMS GII Hunter (.308) and Glock G40 10mm.

First deer was taken with a 14" 357 Max. Contender. The latest, 24" 7mm-08 stainless Encore.
Think. It's not illegal, yet.

1st deer taken was with dad's Rem 7600 in 6mm REM. still have that rifle. Preferred load was a 100 gr spire point over IMR 4895 I believe.
Last was a re-barrel of a CZ527 from 7.62x39 to a 6.5 Grendel then re-barreled again to 6mm ARC. Suppose it could be argued that the Howa Mini in 6mm ARC would my most recent deer rifle though I have not hunted & do not necessarily plan, on hunting with the Howa, as I just like the CZ 527 that much better.
So far the preferred bullets in the 6mm ARC have been 108 grain Elite hunter, 87 grain Absolute Hammer & 90 grain Hornady Cx.

1st- father's old JC Higgins/Marlin Model 45 30/30
Most recent unblooded- Marlin 444P I traded another Marlin for. It was starting to become a spider condominium, so it was traded away. Should be a good one. It surprised me. It's a tack driver
