Had a SMALL fawn in my yard yesterday, nursing on it's Mom! (western Oregon)
Have never seen a fawn this late in the year!
Sure hope the little bugger makes it!

I've seen spotted one that aren't weaned at our old place in NW Oregon this time of year. They usually put on a winter coat by now though. Never saw a dead spotted one in winter though. So maybe the get the winter coat in November?

I know that would be really late for a whitetail. Like 4 months late.

I've never seen a spooted one!
Even birds know not to land downwind!
