slumlord, someone takin' pics of you going hunting after a long night and a big breakfast? Honestly, glad to see your reports coming in here. Hope you do better than I did. Just got the pics downloaded from the phone, bunch of them to organize.

Wishing y'all a wonderful deer season. I have a couple more weeks before I head out to Stafford, Kansas.
Don't forget, hunt some pheasants while in Kansas.

Crap Iβm at The Big D this morning and donβt mean Dallas. Aka dialysis. Will head out this afternoon. Sunny morning and 3 days of Indian Summer like temps on tap. Lazy days for deer, have only seen as many acorns one time before in 31 years hunting same family property. One boot covers 5-10 acorns any direction. Deer donβt have to travel and-or be seen. Rut is not noticeable with respect to any doe body language last two outings. Hopefully the white oak acorns have a stronger draw than the illegal sKuMbIllY corn baiter trailer park POS humans that ring our 253 acres. I am certain white oak have a very strong appeal. Renegade50 is hunting a juicy scrape line a few miles up the highway on public land. Just got his update a few ago.

Lol!! Just got a TEXT!! from Renegade50 "Large dark bodied wide blonde racked buck sighted from 200 to 80yds out on duck hunt feild coming out of a swamp thicket on duck club to the east. Went into low ground towards canal on COE land . No legal shot for the ren50. Fresh rubs popped up overnight in his immediate area. Putting in time on stand. He is pretty sure this buck will make a mistake. All trails and sign converge into this southern escape corridor he is on. Northern corridor he sat on last year has no sign. Morning 3 for him so far" Iβm gonna not smoke any Pall Malls in here till I whack this deer. Got 3 bottles of Tink69 and dual boot draggers, assortment of grunt calls, gonna throw the whole kitchen sink out their πππ

Dang, them pants are in good shape for that vintage and classic. I hit too much barbwire for mine to last that long. See any deers? You mean there are fences left in your neck of the woods ?? I thought you guys turned dirt property line to property line and had little red flags out to show you where to stop plowing. kwg

Didnt want to shoot a doe, dont have many. Thought this a button. Aint killed nuthin w the new 46# Blackwidow PSA2.
22 yarder, had to crouch a bit to clear crap close to ladder stand. Canted bow. Drew to about 3/4 waiting for it to take a step. Told myself dont you dare short draw.
Deer stepped out,.middle finger hit and held anchor, very mildly my brain says " well that looks pretty good " and the arrow appears in the deer.
Hit off side shoulder, fell out halfway down BT.
Cuz checked cams after we got deer prepped. Wide but young 6 pt, the basket 7 and another slightly bigger 8. No shooters........yet.

Do you have a processor around the Big K? Or you and cuz gonna do it up? Got one near my old spot NW of here an hr, great brats and summer sausage, but they dicked my order twice so not going back. Place closer does a good job, doesn't vacuum seal though. This deer aint gonna last that long LOL. Was gonna cut her up myself but been kinda outta whack last couple days. I got cleaned up and took a 4 hr nap. Cuz and I are fugged if we shoot anything big. Our two little bow kills gimped us up a day or two LMAO. I didn't think that puzzy # recurve could kill anything. Kinda shocked it did. Fugging 1200 dollar bow in a 80 dollar ladder stand, shooting baby deer.............priceless! Really thought it was a button, wanted to win the dinkathon.
