Lots of talk about truck guns and inexpensive rifles lately I think that it would be hard to beat these at $499 then there is a $100 rebate which brings them down to $399, plus they are offering free shipping https://www.kygunco.com/group/cz-usa-600-alpha-rifle-seriesdrover
223 Rem, my favorite cartridge - you can't argue with truckloads of dead PD's and gophers.

I’d be all over that if I need one of those calibers.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I wonder what the mag box oal is for the .223?
It's a 1/7 barrel, if the mag box has enough room to load longer bullets it might be worth grabbing one.

Looks like a very good deal. Taurus, Rossi, and Rock Island come to mind for the <$300 revolver range.
