laugh No, just an older Redding Boss, a Rock Chucker and that little Lyman Brass Smith. That picture was taken in my office. I do 3/4 of my reloading there.

This is my workshop. Well, the one bench anyway. It's full of bullet presses. crazy

Going down the list in preparation of getting ready to go:

I have

Dies-yes
Powder-yes
Bullets-yes
Brass-yes
Primers-yes

Rifle-Nope.

Possible candidates, all left hand actions.

CZ 527 Luxe 223
Ruger Hawkeye 204 Ruger
Tikka T3 223

Which one would you use?

That’s a hard one. I am partial to Tikkas, but I would probably pick the rifle that wasn’t shooting the best of the three.

You have two 223s. If they both shoot about the same, I would look at one of them.

Order just placed. I'm looking forward to reading it.
I might just have to build a rifle.
Have a great weekend,

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the info. I'll keep it in my files.
Your book arrived today. Must have been sourced in Calgary.
Looks good after a quick flip through. I'm looking forward to reading it soon.

Have a great day,
Jeff

Wow, delivery times have improved greatly. It wasn’t long ago that Canada had no printing facilities up here. Things continue to improve!

Let me know what you think of the book.

All the best.

I am happy to hear that it arrived quickly. Please let me know what you think of it and if you made a decision about which rifle you will be rebarreling.

Always wanted to build a super flyweight 6x45.

Now I'll have a book to read first.

My 6/45 is a ARC Nucleus action, Hawk Hill 7.5 twist, magazines setup to take 2.58 oal(if I remember right), Hawkin bottom metal, McMillan Classic stock. Shoots 90 grain eld, 95 vld, 95 hunter, 70 vmax, all very well. I'll have to try and get your book ordered. Easy to like little cartridge.

One thing I can say is not to use an AT-One if you are looking to keep the weight down. This particular stock weighs three pounds. With the scope, the rifle weighs about 10 pounds. That is fine for me, but it might not be what you're after.

Nice action. With your mags set to that OAL, 100 grain bullets will fit easily. My rifle likes the heavier bullets 70-90 grains. I had no problems getting consistent .5 to .75 inch groups at 100 yd with several bullets. It isn't finicky, much like the parent, the 223. Have fun!

Just ordered a copy. Mine is built on a 60’s Sako Vixen action with a Hart barrel, shoots 95gr Partitions over Rl15 well under an inch. Think I’ll take it deer hunting today.

Thanks for your work.
