Hadn't bought a new reel in a year or so. My normal Shimano Saharas had it last I looked but one of those occasionally lets go. Not a big deal unless you're trying to fight a fish one handed and reaching for the net with the other.
I usually never use it but it does work great for letting a rod sit in the holder. As for them making it still, they still do. Just have to get one with that feature.
