Use mine down here under 1500 feet altitude and it will climb a tree. Let one of my sons-in-law take it to Montana Elk hunting and he said at the lower elevations it was great but they went as high as 9500 feet and it just wouldn't climb well. Told him probably has to be adjusted for the higher stuff. Any of you guys run into this or fix it before it happened? Also his partner weighs over 250.

Shouldn't have to be, it's fuel injected.

Camp is where you make it.

It will run fine from an idle and smoothness at altitude due to fuel injection but it will be down on power if it's naturally aspirated. Generally they say you lose 3% power for each 1k in elevation. You're down 1/4 the HP at 9500.

Pioneer 700 only has 36 hp at sea level, you're down to 25/26 hp at elevation. That's not much for a 1300 lb machine before people and gear.

The only fix is start with more HP or go forced induction. I know turbo kits are made for the Talon, dunno about a 700 tho.
