Quick n easy.
Follow directions on a box of original Jiffy mix, but add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of DANNYL's pure maple syrup.
Yeah, I know, it's not from scratch. Im not a baker.

Pioneer corn bread mix, 1/2 can of creamed corn and a little can of chopped jalapeno's.
It isn't cornbread if it doesn't have jalapenos.

Different stroke for different folks. I wouldn't eat cornbread that didn't have a lot of butter, sugar, and honey in the recipe. Otherwise it tastes like corn cardboard.
